GOTCHA

Menage trois of deception?….They are all, in one, king-sized bed! Like I have said before, my brain ain’t that smart, but if it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck, one must agree, it’s a duck.

Drinking my morning coffee, reading things here and there, a light bulb blew up my brain and I began to play my favorite game, “What’s up With That”. For many years, since 1982, every major employer I worked for, twisted every employees’ arm to contribute to the United Way. For the life of me, I could not understand why. Grudgingly, I gave my buck, and didn’t rock the employer’s boat. But honestly, I think the program takes in too much money, and a mere, what?, 15 cents goes towards humanitarian efforts, while the head honchos are living it up on my buck. So, I’ve been thinking and thinking, what’s up with that? Why did all these big companies force me into giving? And, my husband was forced to contribute to United Way in the military, during the Vietnam War. I hope the word “war” is politically correct.

At first, I thought it benefited the employer with a tax cut of some kind, which is still possible, but not likely. Then, I imagined, if they did get 100 percent participation they would get a trophy. But, that’s no big deal. Why did they verbally strong-arm me, when I objected?

Then I got thinking a little more. This is pure supposition on my part, and I request that you research my idea, because you may come up with the same conclusion. I suggest that Acorn, United Way, Habitat, AmeriCorps are connected and these entities support lobbyists and politicians who will give them money or owe them for favors, received. It’s the same old, you wash my dirty back, I’ll wash yours.

When you Google, you will find that over 4 billion was given to Acorn in the stimulus package and a chunk was given to AmeriCorps. This is an ice cube compared to the glazier of deceit in our government. It is so scary, I don’t want to investigate it any further. Is it any wonder that Obama had so much campaign money? And, is the stimulus package paying back the donation favors to these entities? My conclusion, is they all share the same adulterous bed. Too much government and the American people are to blame. We put our guard down.

Liar Liar Pants on Fire!

That was some speech, on health reform the other night. I am not the brightest bulb in the pack, but I can not imagine getting all that healthcare and it will not cost American taxpayers one single dime. Prez Obama said one single dime! My mother always said, if it sounds too good to be true…it is. I have many questions about the revised healthcare reform. I say revised, because I read some of the original Bill, and I have to drink tea with the tea party. I appreciate the President listening and changing some of the platform from the original bill for a better healthcare reform. But, unfortunately, I still have concerns. Here are three queries that went unanswered.

Question 1: Once we clean-up Medicare Fraud, which is supposed to fund healthcare reform, after the clean-up, who or what will pay for the cost of the yearly, ongoing reform? What exactly is the government considering fraud? What unnecessary tests for Medicare patients will be stopped per President Obama’s speech?

Question 2: If XYZ, a fictitious company, is given a choice: A) pay a penalty of $10,000 to the government because they will not offer healthcare or B) if they did offer healthcare, the business expense to cover part of the employees premiums was $15,000, what choice, A or B, would the company elect? Choice B will cut into the company’s profit margin. Now we have uninsured employees. Will the uninsured employees be required to buy government insurance or is that optional? If not, will the cost from private insurance carriers be competitive with government insurance? If government insurance is less expensive, what are the particulars of the policy as far as deductibles, co-insurance, maximum out-of-pocket and preventive care? Will the cost change per geographical location? These are a few things the taxpayers need to know before the bill is passed, not after the bill is passed.

Question 3: Where can I, an American Taxpayer, find and read the new, and revised bill? I like to read things! If the original bill doesn’t have strike-throughs, nothing has changed, and the speech was politically incorrect. I applauded the President when he stated that Illegal Aliens would not receive benefits (what countries offer that). But, will that be turned around, if he gives them amnesty?

THE BS ABOUT GM

The acronym GM, which once stood for General Motors, now stands for Government Motors or as some rebuke, Government Mess, has wasted no time in developing their new line of sports cars, which will possibly roll out late September of 2009.  Some analysts are highly impressed with the new horn and tires, but the majority of the task force is skeptical due to the unconventional source of energy used to turn the engine.  They believe this new form of energy is uncontrollable, unreliable, unpredictable, and gives the driver a false sense of security.

It has been revealed that the vehicle runs on compressed hot air, equalized with the special natural compound of BS.  The element, BS, is found in Washington, D.C., but it has been harvested in other democratic regions.  Earshot from a reliable source states the fully loaded car is pricey and comes with sticker shock.  The new government-produced car is strikingly impressive, satisfies the most delirious buyers, and meets all the new clean-air regulations.  The majority of the developers believe the power source of the car, hot air and BS, will run out of steam by December of 2009.  Some have even chuckled, declaring the car is mean and green, but there is nothing under the hood to substantiate the government’s claim to fame.

The most outstanding model, the O-Bomb-A, is a one-door hatchback, handsomely designed, currently manufactured at an unknown location, to be revealed at a later date, and comes with a warranty, backed by the federal government.  The new car warranty and the owner’s manual, written last night by Congress, containing all the necessary, and unnecessary earmarks, mostly unnecessary, touts the largest warranty ever written, which will be a liability for all future generations.  This bill is a thousand pages long.  A source from the White House stated the left wing of the building is delighted with what Congress has put together.  Congress was hoping to get the stamp of approval on the document, no later then this afternoon.  Some say there isn’t enough time to read all the pages, while others say, read later but sign now.

Financing for the new car will not come from local banks, but rather China.  Due to the fact, the government has borrowed money from foreign countries, a White House spokesperson stated, we owe China the business, and after all, they helped us when we were in a tight spot.  She further declared, the interest rate will be high, but the government is planning to subsidize the payment for a select few.

Rumors are spreading that in the first 100 days you will need repairs to the car to get the bugs out and the CIA has been following up reports that the EPA is secretly closing down GM’s parts plants, which employ fifty thousand non-union workers.  Speculators say the Union will take over the debunked operations being funded by Acorn.  The validity of these statements has not been proven.

A gay marriage is the political consummation of Obama and Hillary….

Yes, that is right! And that is what the bad “dream” team is…a gay marriage! They’re laughing stock of the world. Are we so stupid to think Obama and Hillary aren’t going to marry tonight? Hillary will be accepting Obama’s political proposal on Saturday night, live…but for real.

The whole campaign strategy was to have them bicker like an old married straight, bi-racial couple, so people would think they would never come together. Folks, you have to be smarter than that. Let’s face it, he wants her supporters, and she wants his.  A match made in hell!

But, I have heard some say, Obama wouldn’t even consider Hillary because he would have to take on her two hundred pound baggage, Bill. But, ya’ll are forgetting Hillary’s supporters, and they out weigh Bill. All their delirious and delusional voters will push these two, money spending, socialistic, egotistical morons through the windows of the White House, under the disguise of the dream team. Their my biggest freaken nightmare!

So, to all those who said, bah, humbug Barb….it wont happen….let me post it on the bulletin board…they are going to bed with each other, and our country is going to have to feed all the kids they are going to make and can’t support! We will all be living in poverty. 

I think, I will move to China. Does China have a McDonald’s? Nah… the only thing China has that is made in America, is our money!

This election is scaring the pants off me, quicker than cheap champagne…

OMG…what gives America! How low will the democratic candy-dates go, with all the bashing and spending. And, how much are WE, AS AMERICAN CITIZENS, willing to accept? How de-sensitized are WE, when WE can continually consume what Hillary and Obama are saying and doing, and not puke?  WHAT IS WRONG WITH US? THEIR WORDS ARE CHEAP CHAMPAGNE AND WE ARE ALL GOING TO GET SCREWED!  Sorry for being so graphic, and un-lady like, but the being NICE, is just not working.

The TERRORIST are here, and they are running for office!  Will you please put the RACE, GENDER, PARTY ASSOCIATION card you have holding in your hand, on the table and divert your attention to what our country needs.  We don’t need any more taxes!  Where is the funding going to come from, for all these new, wonderful programs that are spewing out of their democratic mouths, faster than one can flush a toilet?  Think about it! Where is the money going to come from?  The working class.  Those of us who are ALREADY paying taxes OUT THE WAZOO!

Okay, OUR children are hungry. WHAT?  I lived in Florida and North Carolina.  Both had free breakfast and lunch programs.  There’s two good meals.  Then, there is food stamps.  I worked for Social Services, and no one should go hungry.  Don’t let me get started on the medical.  Children are currently covered. But, an adult has to get-up off their duff and apply.  There are programs, might not be exactly what the paying people are getting, but CITIZENS AND NON-CITIZENS CAN GET services for free IF QUALIFIED!

AMERICANS, If it sounds too good to be true…hell, it ain’t true.  America is not made of gold!  This is not heaven!  Everything is not free!  And, the more programs that are started, the more money is needed to keep things running.  We are in a money-pit right now! The national deficit is spinning out of control, and we want to put into office two egotistical, spending drunks?  What are we thinking!

Our current tax base can’t support what our government is spending now.  We need to tighten the belt, not eat more bills, or put it on the national credit card funded by China! Think about it people…we need a budget!  We need to budget our spending.  We need a President who will oversee the prudence and due diligence on how our tax money is used.  Not giving it out to every lobbyist with his/her hand open.  This didn’t just happen, it’s years of political abuse, starting with George Washington and should end with George Bush.  Now we are up the creek with a toothpick, trying to edge our way back.  It will be a rough haul but we can do it!  VOTE RIGHT!

McCain, is the only one with common sense, loves America, has values, and look at him…he ain’t spending the money like the other two big-spenders are!  Why are they spending SO MUCH to be elected? And, why are we paying for their childish actions?  And, here is the clincher…what’s in it FOR THEM to win?  Who will be greasing their palm, after they are sworn it?
